HISTORY
Released for Autumn/Winter 1996, the Parasite Fishing Jacket comes from General Research’s formative years under Setsumasa Kobayashi. The Parasite series explored modular, utilitarian garments that blurred the boundary between clothing and equipment, advancing the brand’s reputation for conceptual functionality within 1990s Japanese streetwear. This early example shows the experimentation that later became central to Kobayashi’s design ethos.
