HISTORY
Produced in the late 1990s, this sweatshirt was manufactured using Champion’s patented Reverse Weave construction, originally developed in the 1930s to prevent shrinkage and increase durability in athletic garments. By this period, Reverse Weave had become a standard issue for American collegiate apparel, widely adopted by universities and academic institutions. The “Suffolk Law” print reflects Champion’s long-standing relationship with U.S. colleges and professional schools, positioning the garment within the tradition of functional campus sportswear adapted for everyday use.
