HISTORY
Part of the Moncler Genius project, this piece was designed by Chinese-born, London-based designer Dingyun Zhang, known for his avant-garde exploration of inflated and voluminous forms. Zhang’s collaboration with Moncler emphasized extreme silhouettes and experimental quilting, reinterpreting down outerwear as sculptural objects. The Laphia coat exemplifies his vision, merging Moncler’s technical expertise with Zhang’s distinct approach to proportion and texture.
