HISTORY
Introduced in the mid-1990s as part of Issey Miyake’s ongoing exploration of permanent garment pleating, Pleats Please was developed as a line focused on ease of movement, durability, and everyday wear. Produced using heat-set pleating after garment construction, the pieces retain their shape over time while allowing flexibility and fluid motion. All-over printed pleated set comprising a long-sleeve blouse and matching trousers, reflecting the line’s emphasis on color, texture, and functional design.
