HISTORY
Presented in Spring/Summer 2022, this denim pant was designed under the creative direction of Virgil Abloh and forms part of the “Amen Break” collection, named after the foundational drum break that shaped modern sampling culture. The season articulated Abloh’s long-standing methodology of reconstruction, translating musical sampling into fashion through the recontextualization of existing visual and material languages. These pants appeared as part of a coordinated runway look that paired landscape-printed tailoring with denim, marking one of the final collections completed before his passing.
