HISTORY
Introduced for Autumn/Winter 2010, this collaboration between Loewe and Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons reinterpreted the Spanish house’s iconic Amazona bag. The partnership combined Loewe’s tradition of fine leather craftsmanship with Watanabe’s experimental use of textiles, producing a series of bold variations on the classic silhouette. The Amazona, first launched in 1975, has since remained a key Loewe model, here reimagined in tweed with contrast leather trim.
