HISTORY
Late 2010s. Produced by Seoul-based label KANGHYUK, known for repurposing decommissioned automotive airbags into functional garments. The Icon Airbag series reflects the brand’s ongoing exploration of industrial materials, visible construction, and utilitarian silhouettes derived from protective gear. This flak vest form emphasizes modular pocketing and exposed seam work characteristic of the label’s early archival output.
