HISTORY
Released for Spring/Summer 2020, this cap reflects KANGHYUK’s ongoing exploration of upcycled automotive materials, a practice central to the Korean brand’s identity. Founded by designers Kang Hyuk and Choi Kang Hyuk, KANGHYUK gained international recognition for reconstructing discarded airbags into wearable forms, bridging industrial waste, fashion, and conceptual design. This piece applies that methodology to a classic 6-panel cap silhouette, translating technical material innovation into an everyday accessory.
