HISTORY
From the Spring/Summer 1994 collection, this bomber jacket reflects Issey Miyake’s experimental approach to material hybridity and bold surface treatments. The piece, produced under the VIO line, merges utilitarian nylon with leather sleeves and oversized chenille graphic appliqués. The design exemplifies Miyake’s exploration of sculptural form and graphic play within functional silhouettes.
