HISTORY
From Gucci’s Autumn/Winter 2021 “Aria” collection, presented under Alessandro Michele, this jacket was part of The Hacker Project, which fused codes of Gucci and Balenciaga. Designed as a homage to Balenciaga’s C-shape silhouette under Demna Gvasalia, the piece embodies the collaborative spirit of appropriation and reinvention central to the project. The Aria collection marked the centenary of Gucci’s founding, exploring legacy through reinterpretation and cross-brand dialogue.
