HISTORY
Released for Autumn/Winter 1998, General Research’s Parasite series pushed functional clothing to its conceptual extreme under designer Setsumasa Kobayashi. Known for obsessive pocketing and tactical detailing, these garments blurred the line between apparel and equipment. The 74-pocket jacket and 16-pocket cargo trousers embody the brand’s experimental approach to utilitywear, merging military inspiration with avant-garde Japanese design.
