HISTORY
From Autumn/Winter 2002, General Research’s Parasite series examined modularity and excess function, pushing utilitarian clothing into conceptual space. This aviator-style cargo jacket reflects designer Setsumasa Kobayashi’s radical approach, layering surplus pockets and hardware into a tactical silhouette emblematic of early-2000s Japanese utility wear. Released under style number 1013, the piece carries forward the label’s focus on ideology over convenience.
