HISTORY
The Maca 2 pouch bag was reinterpreted in collaboration with Japanese retailer BEAMS, known for its bold use of color-blocking in technical gear. Originally designed by Arc’teryx as a lightweight, functional crossbody, the Maca 2 features practical storage in a compact silhouette. The BEAMS edition applied signature multicolor paneling, bridging outdoor performance utility with streetwear sensibility. Released in the 2010s, the collaboration reflects the growing influence of Japanese retailers in shaping Arc’teryx’s global cultural presence.
