Granted access to the Morris & Co. archive, he singled out four key late 19th century patterns: Strawberry Thief, Forest, Acanthus, and Honeysuckle, reintroducing the Arts & Crafts ethos into a luxury context. The lookbook, staged at Standen House in West Sussex, visually tethered Loewe’s narrative of heritage craft to Morris’s insistence on integrity in design. Rather than simply reproducing historic textiles, Anderson animated the prints through clothing and accessories. Forest and Strawberry Thief appeared on bleached denim and shearling, while Acanthus stretched across fisherman pants, Puzzle bags, and Hammock bags in bold scale. Juxtaposed with punkish orange tags and distressed finishes.
